Ralph Lauren and Smartly Serve Aces by Personalizing the Wimbledon Shopping Experience

Ralph Lauren, the official outfitter of Wimbledon, needed a way to keep its advertising campaigns campaign-ready despite London’s unpredictable weather and the varying stages of the tournament. Working with agency Zenith, Ralph Lauren turned to Smartly.io and its creative and automation tools to personalize the shopping experience and quickly surface the right looks based on weather and match context.

Using Smartly.io’s modular creative approach and campaign automation, the team built weather-based video variations for Facebook and Instagram, then automated ad set creation and ad status so only the correct creatives went live for each forecast. The result was 30 video variations produced for Feed and Story, with the full campaign launched in under an hour, enabling highly personalized ads at scale while reducing manual work and the risk of showing the wrong content.
