InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), a global hospitality company with more than 5,600 hotels across 15+ brands in over 100 countries, needed to deliver consistently personalized, regionally relevant content in 16 languages for guests, owners and investors. The challenge was scaling localization across many content types and stakeholders while maintaining brand tone and speed to market.

IHG integrated Smartling’s Translation Cloud with Adobe Experience Manager to centralize and automate translation workflows (API/AEM connector, WYSIWYG editor, analytics and automated publishing). The result: a 33% improvement in translation quality, launch time for a new language cut from 6–8 months to about one month, elimination of redundant reviews and duplicate translations, and millions of dollars saved while expanding language coverage across marketing, sustainability and corporate programs.
