Wüstenrot & Württembergische (W&W) is a large German financial services group formed from two legacy companies, serving about six million customers through multiple brands and 17 companies. Facing the complexity of a merged organization and strict regulatory requirements, W&W needed a unified, easy-to-use test management solution tightly integrated with Jira that supported keyword-driven testing and full traceability from requirements to defects.

W&W adopted Zephyr Scale for its Jira-native interface, one-click traceability reports, and flexible REST API, which allowed seamless automation with their Selenium/Appium-based framework and made testing accessible to non-technical users. The tool became the standard across roughly 100 projects—ranging from hundreds to over 10,000 test cases—with at least half using keyword-driven testing, simplifying compliance reporting and accelerating company-wide adoption.
