Fidelity National Information Services (FIS) is a global provider of financial-services technology whose Empower division builds Loan Origination Systems (LOS), including the .NET-based Empower for .NET. Facing lengthy, manual test cycles and the need for a reliable regression suite to support rapid releases of a complex LOS, Empower sought a way to speed testing, find defects earlier, and improve time to market.

Empower adopted SmartBear TestComplete/TestExecute to automate regression and functional testing. The team cut key test runs from about two hours manually to roughly 15 minutes automated, expanded daily automated coverage (running tests multiple times per day), and used standard scripting to accelerate adoption.
