Solarisbank is a Berlin-based “technology company with a banking licence” that provides banking-as-a-service to B2B customers. As the company scaled (now 300+ employees and rapidly growing), it needed a secure, transparent way to coordinate engineers, operations and external partners while meeting strict regulatory and GDPR requirements — and to speed up time‑sensitive tasks like incident response and partner integrations.
Solarisbank implemented Slack company-wide, using Business+ features for data residency and retention, integrations with PagerDuty and Zoom, a custom incident-management bot, and Slack Connect for partner channels. The result: faster, more transparent incident response and onboarding, continued regulatory compliance, and significantly quicker partner integrations (from about six months to three), helping turn customers into close partners while keeping the company agile as it scaled.
