Sid Lee, a 25‑year‑old global creative agency with offices across Europe and North America, needed to scale operations, cut IT overhead and stop being constantly reactive while keeping creative teams connected. The agency faced fragmented communication driven by email and disparate tools, and needed a secure, consistent way for its 900‑person, globally dispersed staff — plus external clients and partners — to collaborate efficiently.

Sid Lee rolled out Slack company‑wide, using apps, Workflow Builder and Slack Connect to automate routine tasks, integrate tools (from OneDrive to Zoom) and bring clients into shared channels. The result: internal email was essentially eliminated, renewal workflows and other processes run from Slack (one ops lead now manages contract renewals), engagement and culture improved through dedicated channels, and the agency reports marked gains in productivity and faster, more creative collaboration across markets.
