Roku presses play on Slack as its productivity platform for sales

Roku, the streaming-device and advertising company, needed a faster, more connected way to manage sales, collaboration, and routine work as it scaled. It has used Slack as its productivity platform since 2014, and with Slack Sales Elevate and other Slack tools, Roku aimed to reduce app switching, streamline CRM work, and help its ad sales team sell more efficiently.

Slack implemented Slack Sales Elevate to bring Salesforce Sales Cloud data into Slack, automate reminders and updates, and let reps manage deals without leaving the platform. Roku also used Slack Workflow Builder, Slack Enterprise Grid, Slack Connect, huddles, and more than 200 integrations to automate tasks and collaborate securely; the result was faster work, less context switching, and support for growth from about £165 million in revenue to over £2.3 billion.
