A Slack Case Study
iFood, a Brazilian food delivery tech leader with more than 5,000 employees, needed a way to replace scattered productivity tools, spreadsheets, and manual HR processes as it scaled. The company turned to Slack, its main communication and automation platform, to centralize work, improve collaboration, and support faster decision-making across teams.
Using Slack, iFood implemented clips, huddles, Workflow Builder, and custom automations, including an internal bot called Judite built with the Slack API to streamline 360-degree performance reviews and reduce bias. The results were significant: iFood built more than 1,200 workflows, integrated 500 apps, used over 15,000 huddles in one month, and raised employee satisfaction with performance evaluations from 41.6 to 63, with zero downtime during the process.
