Case Study: Veepee achieves a 67% drop in incidents with Slack

A Slack Case Study

Preview of the Veepee Case Study

How e-commerce unicorn Veepee decreased incidents by 67% with Slack

Veepee, a European e-commerce unicorn with millions of members and thousands of brand partners, set out to modernize its IT and operations after struggling with email-based, reactive workflows. Prior to Slack, incident management, release communication, employee surveys and vendor interactions were slow or fragmented—leading to low survey response rates, frequent release incidents and cumbersome warehouse reporting.

Veepee rolled out Slack across the company starting with tech, adding channels, automations, integrations (Officevibe, PagerDuty, Airtable, Zapier), a custom help bot and Slack Connect for partners. The changes boosted employee survey responses by 54% (to ~77%), cut incidents by 67% (from daily to about ten a month) with 80% of incident data auto-populated, enabled 6,500 successful changes in nine months and eliminated recent major and release-related incidents—speeding resolution and improving transparency across teams and vendors.
