Expanding a media company’s brand awareness with Slack

Bauer Xcel Media, the digital division of Bauer Media Group, partnered with Ströer, an out-of-home and online advertising company, to boost awareness of Bauer’s digital brands. Both teams already used Slack but needed a seamless way to collaborate across organizations to manage campaigns and quickly troubleshoot ad glitches without switching workspaces or email.

They created a shared Slack channel that links both workspaces and leverages integrations like Google Drive, Trello, Google Calendar, New Relic and Dropbox for unified file sharing and incident response. The result: faster troubleshooting of ad issues, reduced time and stress, preserved conversation history for easier onboarding as teams change, and a scalable collaboration model they plan to expand to other partners.
