Case Study: Credit Saison achieves a Digital HQ for faster cross-functional collaboration and partner engagement with Slack

A Slack Case Study

Preview of the Credit Saison Case Study

Credit Saison adopts a digital HQ to empower its people and partners

Credit Saison, one of Japan’s largest credit card issuers with over 36 million cardholders, faced the need to break down internal silos and modernize secure external communications while scaling digital ways of working. After adopting Slack in 2015 with just ten users, a digitization push—accelerated by the pandemic—grew the platform to more than 3,000 users and addressed challenges around cross-functional collaboration, speed of decision-making, and replacing time-consuming meetings, calls and emails.

By making Slack the company’s digital HQ and using Slack Connect plus integrations like Zoom, Outlook Calendar and GitHub, teams now collaborate faster and more inclusively. Credit Saison used project channels to gather nearly 400 ideas in a week for a new online hometown tax donation platform, and conducts asynchronous work with 100+ customers via Slack Connect—boosting productivity, improving user experience, and empowering employees to make quicker, better decisions.
