Thryv Takes A Leap Of Faith With Platform Migration To Skai™ Local Search

Thryv is a leader in local search serving more than 500,000 SMBs and faced a strategic challenge: they operated two search platforms (one legacy system well integrated with fulfillment but lacking bid/keyword optimization) and needed to migrate ~4,000 accounts, improve client performance, reduce search costs, maintain agency margins, and monetize the new platform via fee increases. They chose to move to Skai’s Local Search platform to address these needs.

Skai executed a six-month platform migration to Skai Local Search with onboarding, technical account management, and extensive training (including onsite support and nearly 100 Performance Strategists), migrating nearly 4,000 accounts. The move delivered measurable gains: 8.9% overall account growth, agency margin up 18 basis points, Google CPC down 13.5% and CPL down 22%, Bing CPC down 28.3% and CPL down 35%, and client churn under 4% (vs an anticipated 15%).
