A Skai Case Study
CUFA (Central Única das Favelas) launched the “CUFA Contra o Vírus” campaign to provide food vouchers and COVID-19 protection information to Brazil’s favelas after the pandemic left many residents—especially women street vendors—without income. Skai supported the effort through its Skai Social marketing technology platform, working alongside Facebook and creative partner Lew’Lara to increase awareness and fundraising reach.
Skai’s Social team managed and optimized the social campaign using Facebook ad credits and Lew’Lara creative, helping CUFA raise R$6,613,265.91 (~$1.2M USD). The initiative reached and served 5,000 slums, 496,700 families (impacting 1,986,800 people), delivered 6,444 tons of food, and—with $75K invested by Skai, Facebook, and Lew’Lara—generated 309 million impressions, 129,000 clicks and 881 conversions.
