Leading Fortune 500 Company, a popular multi-channel retailer of books, magazines and e-reader technology, faced heavy competition and needed to streamline workflows and dynamically display inventory-based promotions across online and offline channels during the holiday season. To manage over 1 million SKUs and ensure relevant, timely offers, the retailer selected Skai to help automate and optimize its search advertising.
Skai implemented its platform and Inventory Based Campaigns (IBC) to automate campaign creation and optimization across Google, Yahoo! and Bing, using a feed from the retailer’s inventory to update keywords, ad copy and pause out-of-stock items. As a result of Skai’s solution the company automated complex tasks, freed marketing resources to focus on strategy, and achieved a 182% year-over-year revenue increase during the November–December holiday period.
