Pervorm Uses Weather Based Automated Actions to Launch Yomost Ice on Facebook

Pervorm, a Dutch digital marketing agency working with FrieslandCampina to launch YoMost Ice in Vietnam, faced a tough brief: reverse a slipping market share while reaching a crowded 13–24 audience and hit the fleeting “thirst‑quenching” moments that occur only when it’s hot and not raining. Pervorm engaged Skai to support the Facebook launch using weather-driven automation to target the right audience at the right time.

Skai built a weather-based API and implemented Automated Actions that turned specific Facebook ad sets ON when temperature ≥30°C and not raining and OFF otherwise, deploying six creatives across morning, noon and afternoon moments. The automation produced measurable, actionable insights—contrary to the hypothesis, engagement was stronger during wet conditions (when more people were on Facebook)—giving Pervorm the data to refine creatives and targeting and continue iterative testing with Skai’s weather-driven solution.
