A Skai Case Study
Proteq Dier & Zorg, a pet insurer, needed to increase monthly conversions by 10% while keeping cost per acquisition (CPA) at or below €50 and ideally lowering CPA further. To meet this challenge they worked with Skai, leveraging a data-driven optimization approach and Skai’s Bid to CPA policy to improve search efficiency and scale prospecting.
Skai implemented budget and campaign optimization, isolated top-performing keywords into uncapped campaigns, separated match types (excluding exact matches from broad match modified campaigns), and targeted ads to specific pet-owner queries while retargeting across search, display and social. The results with Skai were a 33% reduction in CPC (March–November), a 32% increase in conversions, and a 53% decrease in CPA.
