GroupM worked with Hill’s Pet Nutrition to help the brand win on Amazon Japan’s digital shelf. Hill’s needed a better way to increase share of voice and grow multiple sub-brands across hundreds of products, but manual day-to-day optimization was time-consuming and difficult to scale. Skai’s Amazon Portfolio was used to support the retailer media effort.
Skai helped GroupM use algorithmic bidding optimizations to better manage bids, then added Automated Actions to handle repetitive tasks across campaigns. This reduced manual ad operations and allowed the team to focus more on growth strategy. As a result, GroupM helped Hill’s Pet Nutrition increase revenue year over year by 89%, improve ROAS by 39%, and grow share of voice on Amazon Japan.
