Epitaph Group, a media planning and buying agency, needed a better way to promote its charitable research client’s annual fundraising race after many of its best-performing 2021 audiences were deprecated by Facebook targeting updates. To maintain reach and efficiency across niche cancer- and philanthropy-focused audiences, Epitaph turned to Skai for a more strategic targeting solution, using Skai’s Conversion Lookalike Audiences tool for Facebook.
Skai implemented Conversion Lookalike Audiences built from Epitaph’s top-performing ad sets, allowing the team to find new, relevant users based on true conversions rather than standard custom audience inputs. The result was strong performance: ad sets using Skai’s Conversion Lookalike Audiences generated 68% more registrations than the Facebook lookalike audience in the campaign, making it the top-performing audience in 2022.
