Dr. Squatch, the natural men’s personal care brand, was looking to maximize growth on Amazon as rising off-Amazon ad costs reduced branded search volume and they shifted away from managed service engagements. To support a more in-house approach, Dr. Squatch partnered with Skai’s Retail Media platform to gain greater control, granularity, and automation for Amazon Ads.

Skai helped Dr. Squatch transition from automatic to manual campaigns using keyword harvesting, AI placement modifiers, AI dayparting, and Competitive Insights to strengthen non-branded keyword strategy and improve efficiency. The results included consistent ROAS gains across product lines, a 100% increase in branded ROAS and a 95% boost in non-branded ROAS for the body wash line three months after launch, plus a 53% shift toward non-branded keywords for soap while keeping CPCs under control.
