PMG, a global digital advertising agency managing campaigns for many Fortune 500 clients, faced difficulty hitting targets and scaling Pinterest programs because the platform’s auction dynamics required a different approach than other social networks. Skai implemented iterative A/B testing of creative and messaging, coordinated closely with Pinterest to address time-shifted auction data, and provided weekly strategic reporting with PMG to drive rapid optimizations. The effort delivered 12,800 clicks in the first month, the highest CTR to date for CPC-based Pinterest campaigns and the lowest CPC the team had seen, with results including a 50% higher CTR than goal, 79% new visitors, and a 30% lower CPC than goal.
