Urban Hotel Group, a three‑hotel chain based in Australia, faced fragmented systems and time‑consuming manual rate and inventory updates after becoming independent. To centralize operations they adopted the OPERA PMS and engaged vendor SiteMinder, using SiteMinder’s Channel Manager to automate distribution, maintain rate parity, and expand their presence across online booking sites.

SiteMinder’s integration with OPERA PMS pushed near‑real‑time rate and inventory updates to 26 websites, cutting manual parity work that previously took four to five hours and reducing labour needs by about 2–2.5 people. The automation increased online visibility and bookings (including new China demand) and delivered measurable results: a 19% increase in occupancy at St Leonards and an uplift in revenue per available room of over $30, demonstrating clear efficiency and revenue gains from SiteMinder.
