Pegasus Apart’Hotels signs with SiteMinder and GTA, and triples online bookings

Pegasus Apart'Hotels, a 4‑star property in Melbourne with 278 self‑contained apartments, needed to grow online sales, simplify multi‑channel distribution and maintain real‑time PMS delivery while still accessing wholesaler networks. To solve this, Pegasus partnered with SiteMinder, deploying SiteMinder’s cloud platform The Channel Manager, and integrated GTA as a wholesaler (including GTA’s margin agreement) to reach global travel agents and tour operators.

Using SiteMinder’s pooled‑inventory, two‑way Channel Manager and GTA’s distribution models, Pegasus was able to advertise rooms across 14 channels with live PMS delivery, improve yield management and access wholesaler inventory at higher rates. As a result (per SiteMinder and GTA), online bookings tripled, room nights and revenue doubled, average daily rate rose more than 19%, and by mid‑2015 online channels made up 70% of reservations, with marked gains in staff productivity and operational efficiency.
