Newmark Hotels, a growing South African group of five boutique hotels in Cape Town, faced time-consuming manual management of online inventory, limited distribution (just two OTAs) and rate-parity headaches. SiteMinder implemented pooled inventory, live rate and availability updates across multiple sites and a direct, commission-free booking engine on newmarkhotels.com, expanding distribution to around 10 booking sites and eliminating overbooking risk. The result: revenue growth of up to 50% since deployment, channel-driven room-night and revenue gains of up to 25%, internet bookings now about 25% of all bookings, and property-specific direct booking increases (e.g., +22% and +50%), all managed more quickly and centrally via SiteMinder.
