Avillion Hotel Group needed to cut high commission costs, expand its online reach and simplify the direct-booking experience across its three deluxe hotels and Private Collection villas. To achieve this it partnered with SiteMinder, deploying SiteMinder’s Channel Manager to connect to global booking sites and TheBookingButton, SiteMinder’s commission-free booking engine, to drive direct bookings from its own websites.
Using SiteMinder’s flat-fee Channel Manager and TheBookingButton, Avillion reduced online reservation costs by more than 50% and saw bookings from online networks grow 30% since 2010, while direct website reservations increased 25%. SiteMinder’s solution also streamlined rate and availability management, enabled add‑on sales and cut labour time, delivering clear revenue uplift and operational efficiencies.
