Hellsten Hotels on SiteMinder’s seamless tech

Hotel Hellsten, part of The Hellsten Hotels Group in Stockholm, was spending too much time manually updating 10–16 extranets each day and entering reservations into its PMS, leaving little time for revenue-focused work. The team needed a faster way to manage room inventory, rates, and bookings across all eight hotels, and turned to SiteMinder for help.

SiteMinder implemented The Channel Manager and TheBookingButton, later integrating them with the Opera PMS to automate reservation delivery and simplify distribution management. The result was major efficiency gains and better performance: the group saved hours per day, expanded the solution to additional hotels within weeks, and saw sold room nights rise 10% and turnover 15% in 2015, followed by a further 5% increase in sold room nights and 16% growth in turnover in the first half of 2016.
