Victoria Airport Authority’s Victoria International Airport (YYJ) needed to maintain its award‑winning customer service while responding to growing passenger demand for automated check‑in. To meet these high standards the airport selected SITA and its AirportConnect Kiosk solution to provide compliant, self‑service check‑in that could be shared across airlines and fit the airport’s limited space.
SITA deployed 18 AirportConnect Kiosks and integrated them with SITA Global Services and remote 24/7 support from its Global Command Center, plus onsite training and maintenance handover to YYJ staff. The SITA solution increased kiosk uptime through proactive monitoring, cut passenger processing times by up to 25%, reduced handling costs, optimized check‑in space and improved overall passenger satisfaction.
