Major European Airline Company needed a cost-effective, manageable way to connect more than 60 remote sites to its corporate VPN and critical applications where high-resiliency leased lines were impractical. SITA deployed SITA Connect Light at 60+ remote locations, integrating those sites with the airline’s SITA Connect Corporate network and using Local Break Out to allocate Internet bandwidth while supporting ADSL, DIA and Wimax access types, IPSec protection, and backhaul to the MPLS IP network. The solution delivered lower-cost, resilient connectivity with improved application performance and access to cloud and ServiceNet services — part of SITA’s global footprint of 1,700+ SITA Connect Light connections across 220+ countries and territories.
