AT Business Solutions and Laptop Distributors (PTY) Ltd is a South African laptop specialist and reseller (partners with Dell, HP, Microsoft and Lenovo) that needed to grow sustainably while meeting B-BBEE expectations. During COVID-19 the company faced severe global supply‑chain disruptions and potential product shortages; SITA supported them through its business development program (managed by Raizcorp on SITA’s behalf) offering training, mentoring, financial support and market access.
SITA’s program provided targeted training and mentoring plus timely financial support that allowed AT Business Solutions to purchase and hold stock when global supply chains were strained, keeping the company competitive and able to fulfill client orders others could not. As a result of SITA’s support the business gained new clients, expanded operations and staff, strengthened its market position, and is now planning cross‑border growth.
