Rokt, an ecommerce technology company that uses machine learning to drive incremental value from every transaction for customers like Live Nation, Uber, Hulu and Lands’ End, needed to expand into new target markets. Rokt implemented Similarweb’s platform and API to analyze broad markets, user behavior, traffic and channel metrics and to feed prospect quality scores directly into their CRM for opportunity sizing and account tiering. This approach let them pinpoint companies that mirror their top customers and uncover new verticals—most notably the education vertical, which delivered over 500% year‑over‑year revenue growth from 2022 to 2023—while accelerating GTM qualification and prospecting.
