Sevens is a China-based ecommerce marketing agency (100+ staff across Shenzhen and Shanghai) that provides website development, marketing strategy and inventory management for exporters targeting overseas markets. The company struggled with incomplete, outdated market data from previous tools, which hindered proposal development, competitor analysis and effective strategy formulation.

After testing SEMrush and Similarweb, Sevens adopted Similarweb’s competitor and market-research intelligence to inform pitches and campaigns. The insights cut the number of proposals needed to win a deal from more than five to about three, lifted proposal win rates from 20% to over 30% (a ~50% increase), and helped identify opportunities that produced a fivefold revenue boost for a client’s yoga line, 2.5x growth across other categories and a 900% increase for another client.
