Major Urban Hospital, a large Midwest urban hospital network and Level I Trauma Center, wanted to launch telehealth and virtual physician visits but struggled to make previous platforms work. Its care advice line was stretched by limited staffing, poor integration with Salesforce and patient portals, and resistance from some clinicians to adopt virtual care.

Major Urban Hospital implemented SightCall’s telehealth solution with Salesforce Health Cloud, enabling fast deployment, high-quality device-agnostic video, augmented reality support, and automated data capture. With SightCall, the hospital scaled from about 80 telehealth calls a month to 18,000 in April 2020, then sustained around 8,000 monthly by fall 2020, while gaining better analytics and outreach capabilities for preventive care and vaccine campaigns.
