Allianz, the world’s largest insurance company, needed to modernize its claims process without sacrificing trust, speed, or customer care. Traditional on-site inspections were slow, costly, and increasingly inconvenient, so Allianz looked for a better way to support adjusters and customers across its global operations. It turned to SightCall’s secure remote visual support and video solution to make claims handling faster and more flexible.
With SightCall, Allianz enabled live video assessments so adjusters could inspect damage remotely, capture documentation, collect signatures, and collaborate in real time without traveling. The rollout improved customer experience, reduced travel and cycle times, and delivered measurable sustainability and cost benefits. Allianz now performs about 230,000 remote assessments annually, avoiding roughly 7 million kilometers of travel, 100,000 travel hours, and about €4.2 million in travel-related costs, while saving around 1,050 tons of CO₂ each year.
