Gilligan Oil Company, a multi-business operator in Ohio, needed a more reliable point-of-sale system for its Popeyes restaurants after dealing with lag, poor service, and aging technology from a previous vendor. In January 2015, Gilligan Oil turned to SICOM Systems for a POS platform that could better support its growing quick-service restaurant operations.
SICOM Systems implemented its POS, Drive-Thru Director™, and Digital Menu Boards across Gilligan Oil’s eight Popeyes locations, giving managers real-time visibility into drive-thru performance and centralized control over menu updates. The results included faster staff training, improved speed of service, stronger cross-sell and upsell capability, time savings from remote menu management, and incremental sales gains from digital menu boards.
