Improving Speed of Service at Burger King® – Inside and Out

Union Burger Ltd., a Burger King franchisee with nine restaurants in South Wales and one in England, needed technology to support continued expansion while improving service speed, order accuracy, and operational visibility across multiple locations. The company worked with SICOM Systems and used its POS platform and Order Confirmation Units (OCUs) to streamline transactions and reduce errors.

SICOM Systems also deployed its Drive-Thru Director™ solution at five locations, giving staff real-time visibility into drive-thru traffic and motivating teams through Rack’N’Stack™ comparisons between stores. The results were significant: Union Burger reached Burger King’s two-and-a-half-minute drive-thru goal at two restaurants and cut service times by more than a minute at the other three, while also improving order accuracy and helping catch fraudulent activity.
