A SICOM Systems Case Study
Fairmont State University, working with its dining partner Aladdin Food Management Services, wanted to replace a grab-and-go model with made-to-order service that would improve the guest experience, reduce lunch-rush lines, and support cashless payments for students and faculty. The university selected SICOM Systems and its SICOM Encounter™ Kiosk solution to help make ordering faster, easier, and more intuitive for a diverse campus audience.
SICOM Systems implemented 6 SICOM Encounter™ Kiosks along with SICOM Display™, Expeditor™ screens, and a Heartland OneCard integration so students could pay with Falcon Dollars at the kiosk. The results included eliminated lines, 10% higher check averages, and 5% more customer traffic, while also improving order customization, reducing errors, and helping Fairmont State University better handle lunch rush demand.
