Preview of the BASF Case Study

Synchronizing up to 1000 iPads with One Click at BASF

BASF, the world’s largest chemical producer with a leading agricultural solutions division, faced a costly, slow and compliance-sensitive content problem: sales teams relied on printed brochures and yearly updates that quickly went out of date. The company needed centralized content management and distribution, regulatory controls to ensure reps used approved materials, usage tracking to guide marketing, and an intuitive iPad app that a large, varied salesforce would actually adopt.

BASF piloted and then rolled out Showpad across its Canadian marketing, technical and sales teams, consolidating all product and sales content into a single platform with regional divisions and English/French support, customized access, integrated web apps and strict document security. The result: one-click synchronization (scalable to about 1,000 iPads), faster access to the right assets during presentations, improved customer engagement and actionable content-usage insights for marketing.
