Case Study: Puppet achieves faster, more efficient selling and 8x better content findability with Showpad

A Showpad Case Study

Preview of the Puppet Case Study

Puppet partners with Showpad to empower better buyer and seller enablement

Puppet, a Portland‑based software company founded in 2005 with about 500 employees, provides continuous automation solutions for large enterprises. In early 2018 the company faced fragmented content—materials scattered across the website, Confluence, Google Drive and shared drives—making it hard for sales to find, share and measure the impact of enablement content. Puppet needed to reduce sales‑cycle friction, make content easily accessible and shareable, and choose a simple, easy‑to‑adopt platform.

Puppet implemented Showpad to centralize content and deliver short videos and podcasts for on‑the‑go sales enablement, with plans to roll out Showpad Coach for training. Within three months the team saw dramatic gains: customer‑interaction visibility rose from 20% to 57% (nearly threefold), findability of up‑to‑date content jumped from 9.7% to 81% (about eightfold), and the share of reps spending under five hours per week preparing content increased from 43% to 68% (a 58% improvement).
