HID Global, a global leader in trusted identities (headquartered in Austin with ~3,200 employees), needed its sales teams to deliver a cohesive message worldwide. Content was fragmented across wikis, servers, apps and personal devices across six business units, so salespeople spent excessive time searching for approved, impactful assets during long sales cycles and marketing lacked visibility into what content actually influenced buyers.

HID deployed Showpad—beginning with the IDT unit in 2016 and quickly expanding to PACS and partners—onboarding dozens to hundreds of users with minimal IT involvement. The platform gave reps fast, offline-capable access to up‑to‑date, shareable content, improved messaging consistency, reduced translation/printing/shipping costs, drove high adoption (≈75% monthly usage; ~90% say it saves time) and gave marketing actionable insights into content performance as integrations with Salesforce, Marketo and SharePoint are rolled out.
