Electrabel, part of GDF SUEZ and the largest electricity and gas provider in Belgium with about 5,400 employees, needed an easier way for marketing to push up-to-date sales materials to account managers and to improve the customer experience and consistency of sales presentations while reducing printing and administrative overhead.
Electrabel deployed Showpad as a centrally managed digital content library — piloted by a small dedicated team and rolled out company-wide — enabling a “develop once, use often” workflow, guided sales conversations, and real-time content updates. The program boosted account manager productivity by 25% (about five additional customer visits per week), delivered an NPV of EUR 4,000 per rep over three years, cut printing by roughly 2,300 sheets per rep annually, and helped 41% of account managers sell more products while improving contract negotiations and meeting success rates.
