A Shopware Case Study
WOCKEN is a traditional wholesale and service company (300 employees, 13 sites, central warehouse in Meppen) that needed to replace an outdated online order catalogue with a modern B2B commerce platform. Facing typical B2B requirements—roles and rights management, budget and approval workflows, SAP integration and the need to scale media and product data—WOCKEN selected Shopware (Enterprise Edition with Diamond Subscription) and the Shopware B2B Suite, becoming an early adopter of the Shopware Accelerator B2B Suite.
Shopware implemented a complete solution: the Shopware Enterprise platform with the B2B Suite and Shopping Worlds, plus integrations to an external DAM, OpusCapita PIM and SAP via an OCI interface. The result is WOCKEN’s first fully modern B2B shop (the first live with the Shopware B2B Suite), enabled sales-rep ordering, centralized, up-to-date media and reduced data transfer, and a scalable architecture that supports current operations (40,000 stored items) with a roadmap to list up to 400,000 items online.
