Torwegge increases its basket value by 20%

Torwegge, a long-established B2B provider of wheel, castor, conveyor, and intralogistics solutions from Germany, needed to replace its aging Magento 1.9 webshop with a more modern ecommerce platform. The company also wanted better support for international growth, improved internal processes, and a shop experience that could handle a large catalog of 31,000 items across 144 categories.

Shopware implemented the migration to Shopware 6 in 9 months, with support from partner WEBneo and hosting partner Profihost. The new solution added ERP and PIM integrations, Shopping Experiences, personalized templates, and features like live price calculation and stock display. As a result, Torwegge improved SEO visibility above pre-relaunch levels, reached a 45% click rate and 7% conversion rate, and increased shopping basket value by 20%.
