The Fish Society, a UK-based online fishmonger offering over 200 types and 100 species of frozen seafood, needed a premium e‑commerce platform that could handle a huge catalogue, advanced filtering, bespoke ERP integration, improved mobile performance and richer seasonal content. To meet these demands they chose Shopware (Shopware Professional Plus Edition with Silver Subscription) as the foundation for a replatforming project delivered with customisations like blog/recipe content, saver‑packs and telephone‑order workflows.

Shopware, implemented by Shopware Enterprise Partner GPMD Ltd over a 10‑month project, provided Shopping Worlds/Storytelling, strong stock and multi‑buy management, integrations (including GPMD’s LIM to their “Einstein” ERP, Nosto, Klaviyo and Stripe) and premium plugins to streamline operations. The relaunch simplified content and stock management and drove measurable growth: overall sales up (14% year‑on‑year, with a 30% spike in February YoY), a 16% increase in conversion rate and a 32% uplift in mobile conversion.
