Case Study: Springlane achieves content-driven commerce and rapid three-month relaunch with Shopware

A Shopware Case Study

Preview of the Springlane Case Study

Springlane - Customer Case Study

Springlane, a pure‑play kitchenware retailer selling around 150 products under its own brands since 2012, needed a modern, content‑driven e‑commerce platform to merge commerce and editorial content, replace its Oxid shop and support B2C/B2B omnichannel growth and international expansion. They chose Shopware Enterprise Edition — leveraging Shopping Worlds and Shopware’s premium plugins — to deliver an integrated CMS, flexible shop management and a rich plugin ecosystem.

Using Shopware (self‑implemented in a three‑month project), Springlane rolled out Shopping Worlds, the Advanced Promotion Suite and Smart Search, and integrated Microsoft Navision, Payone/KLARNA, CleverReach and WordPress on an AWS host. The Shopware implementation shortened time‑to‑market (migration completed in three months), reduced operational workload, enabled content‑rich product pages with video, made campaign and search management easier, and gave Springlane the in‑house flexibility to scale and pursue international expansion.
