A Shopware Case Study
SOLEKITCHEN, a nearly 20-year-old streetwear and sneaker retailer, faced the challenge of modernizing its brand and online shop to attract younger, mobile-first customers after rebranding from UNDERWORLD. With an unwieldy self-developed platform, they turned to Shopware (initially Shopware 4 and later upgraded to Shopware 5) and Shopware’s responsive template to deliver a cleaner design, faster checkout and improved mobile usability.
Working with Shopware and partner EINS[23].TV, SOLEKITCHEN implemented Shopping Worlds, a “quick buy” plugin, a lazy-loading product image slider and a release countdown for limited editions. The Shopware-based relaunch produced measurable results: conversion rates doubled, online sales doubled, mobile browsing now represents about 55% of traffic, and the improvements also drove increased visits to the physical store.
