A Shopware Case Study
RIANI, a family-run German fashion company since 1968, faced the challenge of turning a marketing-only corporate site into a full eCommerce channel so customers could buy online and the brand could gain deeper customer insights. To meet growing demand and build a scalable, flexible platform, RIANI selected Shopware — deploying Shopware Enterprise with Diamond Subscription as the foundation for its first B2C online shops.
Using Shopware together with implementation partners Portaltech Reply (integration, customization, ongoing development) and KOMMERZ (UX and frontend), RIANI launched two B2C shops in five months (go‑live 18 Sept 2018) via an agile Scrum process. The Shopware solution — integrated with Texdata ERP DIAMOND, Google Cloud hosting, CrefoPay, CleverReach, Google Analytics and Sistrix — supports over 350 products, a lookbook with “Shop the Look,” Instagram product linking (16,000 followers), and Customer/Product Streams plus the Advanced Promotion Suite to power a loyalty program. Shopware delivered the desired scalability, faster time-to-market and personalization capabilities, enabling RIANI to expand its multi‑channel strategy and ongoing internationalisation and process-optimisation plans.
