A Shopware Case Study

MAC Jeans - Customer Case Study

MAC Jeans, a German trousers specialist founded in 1973 with about 330 employees, needed to relaunch and unify its B2C and B2B online shops (including an Austria subshop and English shop), migrate off an IBM WebSphere setup, simplify creating subshops for new markets, and boost revenue and operational flexibility. They selected Shopware (Professional Edition with Silver subscription, with a planned upgrade and migration to Shopware 6 Enterprise) to meet these objectives.

Shopware, implemented by Shopware Solution Partner Onedrop in a five-month relaunch, centralized shop management and integrated personalization (eSales von Apptus), Inxmail, fulfillment routing and analytics, freeing time previously spent updating three systems. The result for MAC Jeans: average annual growth of 38%, conversion rate doubled, CPA halved, visibility rose from 0.55 to 0.848, and the relaunch paid for itself within one year.
