LEKI, a global leader in high-quality outdoor equipment, needed a more flexible and scalable ecommerce platform to support its international growth, multilingual stores, and tightly integrated online/offline sales channels. Working with Shopware and implementation partner von Affenfels, the company decided to rebuild its shop on Shopware 6 rather than migrate its legacy data, with a focus on better content-commerce integration, ERP and PIM connectivity, and more efficient returns handling.
Shopware helped LEKI launch a modern, country-specific ecommerce setup with localized languages and currencies, Shopware Experience Worlds, middleware for ERP automation, Cloudinary media management, SEO optimization, address verification, and an automated returns portal. The new solution improved conversion by 10%, achieved a 100 Google PageSpeed Best Practices score, and increased returns process efficiency by 25%, while also reducing manual effort and improving usability across markets.
