Case Study: Imps&Elfs achieves scalable, story-driven European e‑commerce with Shopware

A Shopware Case Study

Preview of the Imps&Elfs Case Study

Imps&Elfs - Customer Case Study

Imps&Elfs, a Dutch sustainable baby and childrenswear brand, needed a scalable, affordable e-commerce solution that would support rich brand storytelling without extensive custom development and that could handle multi‑shop, multi‑language catalogs plus ERP/POS integrations. They selected Shopware (implemented by Shopware Solution Provider Sition together with digital agency Selfs) for its usability and built‑in capabilities to showcase their creative identity online.

Using the Shopware platform — and especially its Shopping Worlds feature — Sition and Selfs delivered a magazine‑style online shop with a custom frontend, ERP connectors (Exact Online and later ACA XPRT), POS integration to a central warehouse, and UX improvements like a sticky header, streamlined checkout and product color indexing. The launch included 3 language shops with ~2,000 products and 120 categories per shop, supports distribution to 20 countries and 180+ German wholesalers, and enables Imps&Elfs to independently publish quarterly Shopping Worlds and sync orders immediately across channels thanks to Shopware.
