Discovery Channel wanted to bring its branded retail experience to international audiences and create an engaging shopping environment that matched the emotion of its programming. Working with Lemonstorm and Shopware partner Neuland Communication, they selected Shopware (Shopware 5.1.1) as the scalable, marketing-rich platform—leveraging features like Shopping Worlds and Storytelling—to meet multilingual, multi-brand eCommerce requirements.

Neuland implemented a Shopware-based solution running four subshops from a single backend (different domains/templates, currencies and languages), adding plugins such as Smart Search, Live Shopping, Ticket System and Business Essentials and integrations with TM3, WaWi and recommendation engine trbo. The Shopware rollout took three months, boosted conversions with a responsive design, significantly increased sales, cut technical maintenance costs, and amortized the €70,000 investment within six months.
