bilou, a young cosmetics brand created by Philosophy Brands in collaboration with influencer Bibi, wanted its first own online shop to give fans access to the full product range, exclusive items and regular promotions while supporting multilingual storefronts and future B2B expansion. To meet design-driven requirements for large product imagery, badges (e.g., “100% vegan”), Instagram integration and very fast loading under high traffic, bilou chose Shopware, deploying the Shopware Enterprise Edition with Diamond Subscription plus Enterprise Search, B2B Suite and Digital Publishing.
Shopware was implemented by partners Kellerkinder (backend) and DIA die.interaktiven (frontend) and went live within six months, delivering redesigned product pages, parallax homepages, an Instagram #mybilou feed link, automatic freebie-in-cart functionality and a CDN-backed cluster to handle predicted traffic. The result: bilou’s new shop now sells roughly 60 products across seven categories online (in addition to retail distribution), supports international and multilingual storefronts, leverages a social reach of about 1.6 million mybilou followers, and meets the brand’s scalability and future B2B goals — all built on Shopware’s platform.
